Farmhouse. C17. Timber-framed with whitewashed brick infill and plain tile roof. Two storeys. Entrance front: C19 gabled bay to left with stone lower storey and timber framing and simulated timber framing above. To the right of this are 6 x 2 cells of small framing (mostly renewed this century). Two 3-light and one 2-light ground floor casement windows and one 2-light and one 3-light gabled dormers to the first floor all of C19 or C20 date. Left hand gable end: stone plinth supporting close studding with angle braces and close studding to gable. C19 casements with lattice glazing to both floors. Interior: Fluted and chamfered ceiling beam to parlour. There is some C17 panelling and a door with beaded framing and with fluted cornices to the panelling which is certainly rearranged and probably brought from elsewhere.
There was a fire c.1910 after which time the right hand portion of the entrance front was renewed.
