Parish boundary stone: dated 1822. Semi-circular headed sandstone block with a well cut "M 1822" (for Macclesfield) on the north face.
There are 5 boundary stones of Macclesfield on the boundaries with Rainow (2) and Macclesfield Forest (3) (q.v.).
