Formerly farmhouse, now a house: dated 1581 with later C19 and C20 alterations. Washed brick on sandstone plinth. Welsh slate roof, 1 brick ridge chimney and 1 massive external stone gable chimney, with a moulding below a later brick stack. Originally a rectangular H-plan house. The stone stack bears the inscription: "EDWARDE GREENE ESQR DENARYE YEOMAN OF QUEEN ELIZABETHES CHAMBER BUYLDED THIS HOWS OF HIS OWN PROPER COST ANNO DOMI MDLXXXI ET ANNO DNI 1582 WINN" This gable has a single light, cut through a stone block with moulded panels in the soffits, to light fire area. Remainder of the front of the house remodelled late C19 and C20 with 3-light casements with glazing bars and a timber framed gable with projecting bay windows below.
Interior: Timber framed partition walls and chamfered ceiling beams with flat stops. Parlour has massive stone fireplace with heavy chamfered stone lintel. Remainder of interior much altered.
