Shippon and granary at Lima Farmhouse.

Shippon and granary: probably late C17 with later alterations and a C19 addition of a carthouse. Coursed squared buff sandstone rubble, Kerridge stone-slate roof and stone ridge. Long rectangular plan. 2-storey, 7-bay front. Left end is a shippon. To right is door to granary on upper storey approached by a pair of flights of stone steps. To right of door is small 2-light stone-mullioned window with leaded glazing. Remaining openings are rectangular, some with sub-triangular lintels and some with heavy wooden frames. Right end bay has a cart entrance with rock-dressed elliptical headed doorcase. There is access to an under storey from left side and rear.
Interior: Has a timber framed and brick nogged partition wall and many heavy beams, some cambered.
