Description

SJ 97 NW 2/36 BOLLINGTON MOSS BROW (East Side) No. 11. II GV Formerly part of farmhouse and now house: late C17 core with C19 and C20 alterations. Coursed, squared buff sandstone rubble. Kerridge stone-slate roof, stone ridge and 1 stone chimney. 2-storey, 2-gabled front. Ground floor has bow windows with 3-light casements above, under plain stone lintels. Projecting rubble bonds at 1st and 2nd floor. Door in extreme right in plain stone surround. Gables, probably mid C19 alterations, are stone-coped and have kneelers and blocked rectangular lights. To rear 2, 2-light small, square-sectioned stone mullions. Addition to the original house No. 9 Moss Brow (q.v.). Listing NGR: SJ9223977284
