Cross base. C15 or C16. Sandstone ashlar. Square cross base and octagonal shaft on stepped plinth. Plinth of two steps with square base dying via off-set to faceted base with moulded beasts at corners. Diagonally set cross base above, dying to octagonal shaft via offsets. C20 wooden circular cross set above this.
