2/50 No. 87 (Bollington Hall Farmhouse) (formerly listed' under Park Lane) 5/3/59 II
Formerly farmhouse now house: C16 origins, C17 fabric and early C20 alterations. Washed, coursed squared buff sandstone rubble, Kerridge stone-slate roof, stone ridge, and 2 brick chimney. L-shaped in plan. 2-storey, 3-bay front. End bays have C20 wooden casements under rough stone lintels with the partial remains of hood moulds above. Right gable end has a protruding massive, stepped stone chimney flanked by 2-light chamfered rubble mullions with rubble hood moulds. Interior: not inspected but partial demolition of rear in 1974 revealed at least one cruck and timber framing in the walls, now hidden by a brick extension.
