Formerly farmhouse, now house: early C17 with late C17, C18 and C19 additions. Original part timber framed with wattle and daub infill. Additions in rubble stone then brick (all now overpainted in black and white) Kerridge stone-slate roof and 2 brick chimneys. L-shaped in plan. East front of 2 storeys has 4 by 3 small timber frames with angle braces to wall plate and remains of chamfered wooden doorcase. To left is rubble extension 3 of the small windows have some lattice leaded glazing. South range includes a former dairy and shippon. Interior: Heavy, chamfered ceiling beams. Herring boning inside gables. Parts of C17 shaped flat baluster staircase included in a copy. Later C17 extension has remains of - fire beam and massive fireplace.
