6/43 Canal bridge no. 23, 250m west of Winterford Farm.

Canal bridge: C1830 by William Crosley for the Macclesfield Canal Company. Horseshoe, elliptical arch with a chamfered coping at road level. Plain parapet with rounded coping ends in a square pilasters.
The standard bridge (but wider) on this canal. There are 6 other complete examples in Adlington (q.v.).
