Formerly a farmhouse, now a cottage: C17 with C19 brick addition and some C20 alterations. Partly timber framed and partly brick. Kerridge stone-slate roof, 2 brick chimneys. L-shaped in plan with brick addition in the corner. 2-storey, 3-bay front has 4 by 2 small timber frames with brick nogging to right. Central gabled brick porch has 2-board door behind, with iron strap hinges and iron lock plate. Left end bay brick with wooden casements. Interior: timber framing almost intact. 1 room accommodation has chamfered ceiling beams. 1 room was formerly a shippon with slots in ceiling beam for cowstalls or bosgains. Roof truss of tiebeam and collar and through purlins and ridge.
A brick garage added to the right is not included in the item.
