Canal bridge: c.1830 by William Crosley for the Macclesfield Canal Company. Hammer dressed buff sandstone. Horseshoe elliptical arch with chamfered coping at road level. Plain parapet with rounded coping ending in square pilasters. The standard bridge on this canal of which there are 7 complete examples in Adlington (q.v.).
