ELLESMERE PORT & NESTON LOWER MERSEY STREET SJ 4077 12.9.78 Lock Keeper's Hut between Lower Mersey Street and Lower Dock Basin (formerly listed as Dock Street as Lock- keeper's Hut) GV II
Early-mid C19 modest 2-room hut of small handmade red brick, under pyramid roof of slate. Later small office at rear of wire-cut blue-red brick with lean-to roof. Brick chimney. Timber bay window, facing canal, restored. 1982/3.
