Farmhouse, mid C17. Brick nogged timber frame, formerly thatched now with corrugated metal roof. 2 storeys, 4-bays including added brick bay, south. Ten irregular panels with single middle-rail and long angle braces to the wallplate. Replaced flush casements with glazing bars. Boarded door in heavy oak frame. Old fire-insurance plate featuring Atlas. At the rear (west) the timbers are hidden by a full-length lean-to with roof of large slates, which turns through 90° across the gable of the added brick bay south. Three-board-deep fascia hiding the remaining thatch. Stacks to the original gable ends. Interior: Bevelled beams and exposed ceiling joist, inglenook blocked.
