Description
ASTON BY SUTTON C.P. ASTON LANE SJ 57 NE South West Side 3/49 Aston Cross (base and shaft). 8/1/1970 II Shaft of cross or sundial, probably C17, of red sandstone. Triangular base of 2 steps; square plinth; stop-chamfered shaft; square head has slightly raised square panel, with central sinking, on top, looking like the base for a removed sundial.
