Inn, C17, altered. Oak small-framed, brick-nogged, with extensions in brick and sandstone; grey slate roof. 2 storeys, T-shaped. The leg of the T has small-frame on 1.5 metre brick plinth, with lean-to extension of brick and stone, probably C18, to rear. To the front are 2 small-pane casements to each storey and a lobby-entrance under a (probably early C20) lean-to porch on brackets. The head of the T, probably originally stabling, but converted to licensed and living accommodation, is of brick with small-pane casements with 2 boarded loading-doors in gable to former hayloft and 2 blocked loophole vents in side wall. The interior is altered.
