Description
Dee Banks is an attractive outlying southern suburb overlooking the River Dee. The area displays a variety of architectural styles dating from the period between 1800 to World War I with a number of other properties dating from the inter-war and post war years mainly located in Private Walk. The presence of late Georgian and Regency villas in varying styles and materials with individual features of architectural interest confirms the area's popularity as a genteel suburb at the beginning of the 19th century. It was valued as a location for residential development due to the views over the Dee.
