Description
The Church is the work of John Douglas and James Harrison and is distinguished by its shingled broad spire and timber framed belfry. The group clustered about the Church comprises Roase Farm, Church Farm and Cottages to the east, and the west the school and a single cottage. Most of the domestic builldings appear to be of 18th century origin although somewhat remodelled in the early 20th century with rough casting, timber multipane windows and some detail in applied timber frame.
The farm buildings to Park Farm appear mostly redundant and includes a partly timber framed barn/ Church Farm has a prominent and well executed mid 19th century barn along the roadside which is also redundant.
