Abstract/Summary
Desk-based assessment and geophysical survey carried out in 2023 on land at Warrington Road, Culcheth. The studies have identified remains of post-medieval field boundaries within the proposed development area. Boundaries (HA 1, HA 2 and HA 2) are depicted on historic Ordnance Survey mapping. However, several short, weak linear anomalies (HA 3, HA 5, HA 6 and HA 7) also recorded by geophysical survey in the eastern end of the site, are of undetermined origin.
