Abstract/Summary
A series of black and white photographs of the 1977 excavation around the south transept of St. Mary's Church, Nantwich. Several medieval burials were discovered (Graves 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 mentioned on reverse of some photos), also a charnel pit (F6), along with the remains of an early octagonal tower and socket hole. Some of the photographs have notes written on the reverse; one is attributed to Mike Goodall and dated 30/09/1977.
