Abstract/Summary
An archaeological watching brief was undertaken in 2021 at St Christopher’s Church, Pott Shrigley, in East Cheshire. The watching brief was to monitor the first stage of groundworks, which were undertaken to reduce the terrain near the lichgate for the eventual installation of a wheelchair accessible ramp for the church . The remains of a former wall were found during the excavation, but no other features were identified.
