Abstract/Summary
Heritage Statement produced in 2014 for Bostock Green Social Club, originally built as a village reading room, in support of a proposal to refurbish and extend the building for use as a high quality country pub and restaurant. Bostock Green is a model village which was developed by the France-Hayhurst family on the Bostock estate in the 18th and 19th centuries. It consists of a group of cottages and farmhouses, together with social and community facilities for the use of the tenants and local community.
