Abstract/Summary
An osteological analysis of three inhumed skeletons recovered from Warrington Youth Zone, Warrington, prior to development of the site. The date of the burials is unknown. The individuals were buried in supine extended positions in a west to east or north-west to south-east orientation. The skeletons were very well preserved though partly truncated so were between 50% to 65% complete. They include a mature adult female and a young adult male, who were buried together, also another young adult, possibly a male. All three individuals had minor developmental anomalies in the spine, the young adult male aslo had shortening of the femora (thigh bones) which may have affected his gait.
