Abstract/Summary
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken in 2022 on land destined for a temporary photovoltaic park development development at Iddinshall Rough, Clotton, Cheshire. A total of 4 trenches were excavated. The site lies immediately to the south of Iddinshall Hall Moat which is a scheduled monument.
The evaluation identified an undated ditch, likely related to agricultural drainage and two geological features.
