Abstract/Summary
In 2018, a building survey was undertaken, for two barns, in L-shape pattern, at the former Lea Farm; the remainder of the farm buildings had already been demolished. The farm, including the barns, are depicted on the 1839 Tithe Map. The barns are neither locally, nor nationally, listed.
The different styles of vernacular architecture suggests the two 'wings' of the L-shaped building were built at different times, although it is apparent that both were designed and built for agricultural purposes.
