Abstract/Summary
Report presenting an up-dated summary of the findings of several earlier reports analysing soil samples taken during the excavations by English Heritage at Beeston Castle in the 1980s. These include samples taken from an upper site within the Outer Ward and the area of the Gateway which contained important prehistoric archaeological remains. The report also discusses carbon 14 dates.
