Map of several Estates in the Townships of Church Coppenhall and Monks Coppenhall in the County of Chester; with the cottages and Waste Lands in that of the former; which Manor with the Estates comprized in this Map are the Property of Sir Brian Broughton Delves Bart, made 1762 by Jno Probert.

Description

Map of scattered holdings in Church Coppenhall and Monks Coppenhall (c386 acres), including allotments on Coppenhall Moss; shows arable fields, meadows and pastures, hedges, and gates; church shown in perspective view, all other buildings shown in block plan; fields named and numbered; for key to field numbers see D 7383; names of neighbouring landowners; destinations of roads. Scale 1 inch: 4 chains (1:3168). Compass rose; rococo cartouche with Chinese figures, dragons etc. Fields etc lettered and numbered: key in D 7383. Map appears to have been trimmed to margin; it was formerly p 290 in the survey and valuation by John Probert see D 7383.
