Abstract/Summary
Heritage desk-based assessment for land to the north of the Royal London Campus, Wilmslow, in advance of proposed development. The assessment has established that based on the available evidence, the site has low potential for remains of all archaeological periods. There are no Scheduled Monuments, Conservation Areas, Grade I and Grade II* Listed Buildings, Registered Parks and Gardens, and Historic Battlefields which will be impacted upon by the proposed development. The only designated heritage assets which have the potential to be impacted upon by development of the site are Fulshaw Hall, the Staff Restaurant 30 m north of Fulshaw Hall (both of which are Grade II Listed), and the possible curtilage listed Coach House Bungalow and Fulshaw Gate. All these assets are located beyond the site boundary.
