Abstract/Summary

An archaeological building assessment was undertaken in 2014 of the southern elevation of the Grade II Listed Old Hall, 58 High Street, Great Budworth, to assist the conservation and repair work of this elevation of the building. The survey identified four broad phases within the fabric of the south elevation comprising: 16th/17th century timber-framing; late 17/early 18th century infilling; late 19th century insertions; and 20th century rendering.
