Abstract/Summary
Report of an archaeological watching brief undertaken in 2016 within the grounds of Norton Priory to monitor the removal of decaying fence posts and their concrete bases that comprise the outer fencing of the Herb Garden just south of the monastic remains. Each exposed post hole was hand-cleaned, recorded and photographed. No archaeological deposits, material or artefacts were recovered.
