Abstract/Summary
In May-June 2015 Earthworks Archaeology undertook an archaeological evaluation on land known as the Shavington Triangle on behalf of Persimmon Homes. Thirteen test trenches were excavated with the line of the former township/parish boundary as a particular target. A metal detection survey was also undertaken. A ditch associated with the early parish boundary was recorded but otherwise no other features of merit were found. Additionally no residual or metal-detected finds of note were recovered.
