Abstract/Summary
Heritage assessment and rapid building appraisal of the former county police station ann land to the rear of Churchside, Macclesfield, commissioned in advance of the proposed conservation and conversion of the building to create a Senior Citizens Hall. Concludes that the development will hav a limited, but less than substantial impact upon the known heritage assets and can be seen as an enhancement. Previous construction work and services will hav trucated or destroyed any potential archaeological remains.
