| Author/Originator | Haigh, S. |
| Report Number | R3573 |
| Date/Year | 2007 |
Abstract/Summary
This survey concerns a group of buildings at the Wizard Restaurant, Nether Alderley, Cheshire, which is owned by the National Trust (NGR: SJ 858773). The earliest part of the group is a former farmhouse which appears to date from around 1780, but was extended in the early nineteenth century, when it also served as an inn. There are also former agricultural buildings at the site and in the vicinity a small two storey building which may be a former mine-shop. This report contains floor plans, photographs and detailed descriptions of all the buildings.
