Abstract/Summary

This document provides the results of a programme of archaeological excavation carried out at the former Saighton Camp, Chester, during November and December 2006. The report has been compiled by Northern Archaeological Associates Ltd. Saighton Camp lies on the outskirts of Chester (centred upon SJ6420 4290), and is the subject of redevelopment. The site comprises an area of approximately 6 hectares situated to the east of the River Dee, south of the village of Huntington, from which it is now separated by the A55T Chester bypass.
