Source/Archive record SCH7324 - A Desk-Based Assessment of Land at Clay Lane, Haslington

The desk-based assessment notes the presence of degraded ridge and furrow across part of the site and a probable earlier alignment of Clay Line at the northern limits of the application area. The study was, however, prepared without sight of the detailed development proposals, which show the northern part of the site as open ground with minimal disturbance. In these circumstances it has been concluded that no further fieldwork will be required.
