Abstract/Summary
The desk-based assessment considers the development odf the site, the potential for archaeological deposits within the proposed development area and the likely impact of construction works. It is concluded that a programme of pre-determination trial trenching is required to establish the need, if any for further mitigation. The report also considers 'setting' with regard to the Scheduled Monument and Listed Building, which will be considered by English Heritage and Warrington BC respectively.
