Abstract/Summary
Watching brief on groundworks for the siting of a water holding tank for water pumped from the Dee to irrigate Eaton Hall gardens immediately to the south west of the existing pump house. Both the new tank and the pump house occupy part of the site of the late 19th century Eaton Estate Gas and Water Works which were exposed during the groundworks.
