The report summarises past work on the site, including the recent evaluation by Earthworks Archaeology, and makes proposals for a programme of mitigation on the site in the archaeologically sensitive area, in the event that planning permission is granted. It is suggested tha tthis should consist of a mixture of preservation in situ, watching brief, and limited formal excavation in areas where deep disturbance is inevitable and will affect archaeological remains.
