Description
“We have got a good start on the new buildings. The foundations are turning out very bad. There has been a pit at this end of the buildings where it is now level ground (Mr Platt says he remembers it). We have gone down to the bottom of it to solid ground. The stable upstairs will be completed next week and pillars to under the barn roofs have been built.” 1901
