Abstract/Summary
A detailed magnetic gradiometer survey was undertaken over approximately 15.3ha of agricultural land at Betchton, Cheshire. Within the survey data there are a number of amorphous positive anomalies which may be possible archaeological features such as pits and ditches. Many of the features identified in the survey data correlate well with the positions of former field boundaries as shown in historical maps of the site.
