Abstract/Summary
Mottram Old Hall Farm forms part of the moated Old Hall Farm complex, an important medieval site in Macclesfield. The farm buildings, which were sold separately from the Old Hall in 1973, comprises the current farmhouse, formerly a timber framed barn of 16th or early 17th century date, the partial remains of a 19th century barn now used as a garage, a 20th century shippon and a 20th century piggery.
