Source/Archive record SCH6585 - Grange Farm, Hartford: Archaeological Desk-Based Assessment

Desk-based assessment of land at Grange Farm, Hartford prepared in connection with proposals for the development of the land for housing. Following submission of the initial report, discussions were held with APAS and it was agreed that some further work would be done to examine the aerial photographs, check the tithe map apportionment for significant place names, and also check the relevant entry in Ormorod. This second phase of work identified a number of areas of archaeological potential within the area of interest.
