Abstract/Summary
Excavation carried out at Lodge Farm, Norton Village in advance of the re-development of the site for housing. The site lies immediately to the north of that part of Norton Village excavated by Patrick Green in the 1970s, which revealed evidence of the planned medieval and post-medieval village. The present work revaled further medieval and post-medieval features but not at the same density as those further south, suggesting that it lay at the northern edge of the settlement .
