Abstract/Summary
A desk-based assessment prepared in suport of proposlas for the erection of a large office block immediately to the west of the Runcorn Bridge on the north shore. The land had opreviously been relaimed but was the site of the 19th-century West bank dock. This was filled in some years ago, which involved the dumping of much waste material across the site. The report concludes that the proposals would have little impact on any surviving below-ground remains.
