Abstract/Summary
Includes notes on excavations in the north half of the Roman amphitheatre, Chester, the results of which show that the area was under cultivation during the sixteenth to eighteenth centuries, and recorded pits filled with animal bone and a rare blue and white tin-glazed owl jug.
