Source/Archive record SCH5591 - Archaeological Watching Brief Report: Overflow Car Park at Little Moreton Hall, Congleton, Cheshire

Allen Archaeology Ltd was commissioned by the National trust to undertake and archaeological watching brief during groundworks associated with the re-surfacing of the overflow car park and the addition of new drainage. The field lies to the west of the hall and east of the main road (A34). Little of interest was exposed and the only features noted were those associated with 19th and 20th-century drainage.
