| Author/Originator | Malcolm Reid BA |
| Report Number | R3101 |

Abstract/Summary
A programme of work to replace gas mains in the southern part of King Street provided an opportunity to observe and record archaeological deposits in this part of the town. The exercise was particularly valuable in uncovering a section of the main Roman road running through the Roman settlement and adjacent deposits and structural features which appear to be contemporary.
