Abstract/Summary
Maintenance of a watching brief during the redevelopment of an extensive former industrial site revealed widespread disturbance across most of the area. In one area, however, remains of former structure were located. These were interpreted as a brick-built cellar and are thought to be the remains of Marsh Hall, which is shown on 19th-century mapping of thearea and may have had earlier origins.
