Abstract/Summary
In July 2010 Archaeological Research Services Ltd were commissioned by Storengy UK to undertake an Archaeological Building Recording at Stublach Grange Farm near Lach Dennis, Cheshire, prior to the proposed demolition of the building. The historic map regression and building recording established that Stublach Grange Farm existed as early as 1836 and went through a number of extensions and modifications into the late 20th century. The building had been abandoned for a number of years before the building survey took place. As a result it
was in a state of disrepair and some areas on the first floor were unable to be accessed for health and safety reasons.
