Abstract/Summary
Land at Parkgate road, Chester under proposal for development of Student accommodation. This report contains the results of the Desk Based Assessment carried out in the site area. There is no evidence for Prehistoric, Roman or Medieval Activity in the site. The potential for archaeologcial remains dating to these periods can be considered low.
However there is more activity in the are during the Post Medeival period due to the presence of Finchetts Gutter, a liberty/ Parliamentary boundary in the the site. The potential for remains dating to this period can be considered moderate,
