Abstract/Summary
Two phases of archaeological watching brief were carried out between November 2006 to February 2007 and July to September 2008 by Northamptonshire Archaeology. 11 separate areas were investigated along the intended carriageway and junction improvements associated with the A5117 in Cheshire. No significant archaeological features were discovered in the areas under scrutiny with only scattered post-medieval remains seen throughout.
